Club Instabil is a series of artistic exchanges organized by blackhole-factory in Braunschweig, Germany.
Temporarily arising, Club Instabil consists of musicians, performance artists, media artists, scientists and cultural organizations with whom blackhole-factory is collaborating in a loose network. The meetings are being held to bring artists with different backgrounds together, using the short „Club“ time to develop new forms of artistic discussions and materials.
Since the late 1990ies blackhole-factory is collaborating in a loose network with artists, scientists and cultural organisations coming from different parts of the world.
After a while we started to bring colleagues with different artistic backgrounds together for short projects, shows, exchanges.
The network is unstable and divers, in its complexity it is only temporarily possible to bring parts of it together. Same time all those people are working in the field of ephemeral artforms until the use of unstable media –
This way the title „Club Instabil“ came up.
2006 we organized the first „Club Instabil“ in Braunschweig, collaborating with the Allgemeiner Konsumverein gallery. At that time we invited performance artists, filmmakers and musicians to an exchange about the perception of urban stuctures and rhythms.
„Club Instabil“ 2011 brings musicians together for some lab days at Kunstmühle Braunschweig and a concert night at the same place.
